A Christmas Knees up at Loseley Park – Some Gorgeous Winter Wedding Photography
It’s still Christmas in my house, mainly because I’m working on this stunning wedding from December at Loseley Park in Guildford. This is just a taster, and it was hard to get it down to just a few fun favourites.
The day’s joke was that Cesca and Glen have been together for long enough for Glen to have supposedly been a bit slow off the mark when it came to proposing, but I just got a solid, highly tuned relationship to have the privilege of photographing. Really powerful stuff – they knew why they were there and they were going to have a lot of fun doing it.
Loseley Park is the perfect wedding Venue at any time of the year, and the warmth and intimacy of the Tithe Barn only adds to the sense of occasion, bringing everybody in for a bit of a snug, and a bit of a cuddle.
I love a winter wedding as much as I love the late nights of the Summer garden parties – the Christmas decorations were up, the tree majestic, the candles lit, Black bridesmaids’ dresses, red winter flowers, a bit of Sunshine, and yes, there was (at least) an hour of the most raucous families standing on chairs sing along I can remember seeing at a wedding. Everyone got involved. Much fun. Very infectious
I came away from this and felt totally desperate to see my family again, my brothers and sisters and all the kids. This was the perfect winter gathering and one of my favourite Loseley Park Weddings. An absolute joy.
